Astral Projection
If you’ve ever wanted to travel outside your body, astral projection is for you. Astral projection means leaving your body during sleep to explore other realms of reality.
This article will go through what astral projection is, why people want to do it, and how to start doing it.
What is Astral Projection?
Astral projection or astral travel (which are both used interchangeably) is the act of leaving your body while you sleep. People who practice astral projecting consciously leave their bodies to explore a new environment.
The ability to manipulate one’s own consciousness in this way is referred to as an Out-of-Body Experience (OBE). Some people also take OBEs into stages further by being able to visit distant locations from the comfort of their homes, and even visit the past or future. This is commonly known as Astral Projection and is a very different activity that requires a lot of skill and practice.
How to start Astral Projection
You can only start astral projecting if you have full control over your own body. You need to be very skilled in relaxing and staying relaxed when you do astral projection. So before you start, practice relaxing for short periods of time without feeling sleepy or being under the influence of any mind altering substances. Doing this will make it easier to achieve astral projection when the time comes.
It is common for people who have trouble with falling asleep to have difficulty with getting out of their bodies if they are tired physically and mentally at the same time. To get out of your body during sleep requires a certain amount of willpower and concentration. This can sometimes be difficult if you are tired from not sleeping properly (not getting enough rest).
Why would you want to try Astral Projection?
Astral projecting can be a lot of fun and it’s a great way to explore the different realms of reality. Some people find the experience very spiritual and they gain some useful insight from it. It can also be used to help you visualise to clear your mind from negative thoughts and emotions. Some people believe astral projection can be a way to see into the future, or it can help you remember things from past lives.
While astral projecting, some people are able to move their bodies that are lying asleep while other report feeling vibrations through their bodies when they try astral projecting. The vast majority of experiences are fairly mundane but there is a possibility of danger if you don’t know what you’re doing.
How can Astral Projection be dangerous?
Astral projection can become dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. Many people who try to control their astral bodies are unable to maintain a physical body and they may not be able to get back to their bodies before they pass out. If you’re not ready for this, the last thing you need is someone else controlling your astral body for you.
If you do astral travel but continue to use drugs during astral projection as a way of keeping yourself awake or staying focused, this can lead to a condition known as “out of body paralysis”. Out of body paralysis occurs when people start experiencing paralysis in their physical body, but are unable to move any part of their body or limbs while fully conscious and aware.
