What is An Angel Number?

Do you often find yourself noticing patterns of numbers again and again? For example, you might keep waking up at 3:33 or you may find that you keep buying items that mean you get £1.11 back in change.  It could even be that you get a very important email from a friend or family member at 5.55pm.  

This frequently occurring sequence of numbers is called an angel number.  It is a sequence of a number that keeps appearing again and again until it becomes meaningful.  For example, 111, 2222, 333.  The numbers usually appear in a group of 2, 3 or 4.  

Once you notice it happening, it becomes impossible to miss and you will start to notice it happening more and more. 

Why do we see angel numbers?

Numbers are common to every language and every modern society.  Even if you don’t speak the same language, 111 is common across languages.  That is why it is the best way for guardian angels to communicate with us.  The numbers are a universal language.  It is a way for them to show us that they are here and they are watching out for us.  Everyone has at least one guardian angel looking out for them throughout their life and this is how they can communicate with us. 

There are many ways why angels may try to use angel numbers to communicate.  It could simply be to let us know they are there and watching over us.  It could be a message to look out for a certain thing related to that number that is going to help you.  For example, if you start seeing the numbers 333 everywhere and then someone sends you a job interview request at 3.33pm, it could be your angel’s way of saying you need to take this opportunity.

How are angel numbers used across the world?

Throughout history, angel numbers have appeared across religion, spiritualism and mythology.  Historically, Spiritualists used the numbers and dates of important events and the sequence of numbers linked to these events to direct their actions.  

The Chinese culture is heavily linked to numbers.  The numbers 6, 8 and 9 are said to be lucky numbers.  

In modern times, the number 7 is linked to good luck, while the number 13 is said to be bad. 

The practice of numerology makes use of the important dates in our lives to help us make difficult decisions and map out how we can live our best life based on the numbers that define us.
